Picture 017Happy Wednesday!

You get to see Emerson instead of me because I am working from home today. Face is washed, teeth are brushed, but that's about it. I don't think anyone needs to see me in my Bravado nursing tank, capri yoga pants from old Navy and Gap hoodie… oh yes, and green chenille grippy socks that I got for Christmas a few years ago. Nothing sexier than puffy green socks with capri pants…

My mom's next door neighbor got her these Days of the Week bibs and I thought it was fitting for this picture!

See you tomorrow!

  1. Seeing pix of your gorgeous daughter the last few weeks; I can’t help notice how much she’s changed already! It’s amazing the little changes that happen day by day.

  2. Oh yes, I love bright pink and orange! ๐Ÿ™‚ Her nursery isn’t pink and orange… but it is pink and yellow!

NO SOCKS WITH OPEN TOES! LOL… I swear I HATED socks before I had a baby. My feet were always peeking out of the comforter to sleep well, and I was always in peeptoes (even in winter) because my feet would get hot. Now I live in socks because I get so COLD!

  3. Having a child must do something to your “sock-wearing” hormones too, because ever since I had my baby I cannot get enough of my puffy socks! I just went back to work too and was so disappointed I couldn’t wear them anymore … until I realized if I wore boots every day I could still feel the fuzzy awesomeness.

I don’t know what I’ll do when it gets warm. I’m thinking open toes and fuzzy socks do not mix.

  4. She looks really smug in this picture, and I love that. Kind of like, “Yeah, I’m awesome. What of it?”

Oh, and by the way, your outfit sounds perfect. Yesterday I wore a green tank top and pink paisley pajama pants. MY KID IS FIVE. I have no excuse. You, my friend, you have a beautiful excuse!

  5. ooh, we had the days of the week drooler bibs too. So cute! I also have days of the week dishtowels to help me remember to grab a fresh one each day. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Allie, I can hear/read you beating yourself up for not looking sassy every day you don’t look sassy . . . I love your fashion posts but it’s okay, you are fabulous and wonderful no matter what level of maintenance you put into your appearance! Seriously!
