Tuesday I had meetings in the city. There would be walking, possibly some photos, I wanted to look casual yet polished. My go-to for such situations is jeans, a blazer, and an interesting pair of shoes. These are all wardrobe classics for me and have been for years. The silhouettes may change slightly as new…

Yesterday reader Taleia noticed I made my blog post’s title, “Thursday.”ย I think it was wishful thinking that it was closer to the long Labor Day weekend!ย Well TODAY is Thursday, and we are one day closer to the end of the week.ย Hooray! Hey guys, long time no talk!! So as you know, Monday I went to work and looked relatively put together. Hooray! Tuesday I worked from home, and no one wants to see me in my yoga pants, so no picture was taken. However that night I went to a concert (Nine Inch Nails/Jane’s Addiction –…
Yep, DC area born and bred! Glad to have you here, I also write at http://www.wardrobeoxygn.com about fashion for real people. Hope I can be of help and don’t be a stranger! ๐
this is funny! i wondered if you live in D.C. when i saw you refer to “the Metro” in one of your posts! i live in NOVA, and this is *so* true!
this is my first time on your blog. i need HELP! with my wardrobe, and I Googled “Mommy fashion Blogs” and yours came up! i’ll be watching your blog for help, now that I know about your posts, and we’re in the same geographic area (so same weather and stores!)
haha, as soon as it started I knew it was the same guy who did the Arlington Rap. Hilarious.
the arlington rap is also money.
but yes, this metro one is so spot-on!
Oh this made me laugh, gonna make G watch it when he gets home! Any time we go into D.C. we take the metro (unless we’re going to dinner where there’s valet). I think the best part of taking it is watching the tourists who have never been on a freakin’ subway system before. It’s not hard, but damn do they get perplexed.
