  1. Allie! I was just going to email you about CG Lash Blast, and here you are using it! (I know you and I have similar mascara goals = big fat false-eyelash-looking lashes.) The brush is a little big, but I’ve been getting GREAT results from it! Looks like you are, too. 🙂 PS – I covet this dress!

  2. Awww, thanks guys!

Yes, after that one pocketwatch necklace it has inspired me to find other pendants that are less… expected. Nothing inspiring… YET but I am on the lookout! My mom has a pendant made from a stained glass “bullseye” from an old door that is too awesome and always gets compliments. Sometimes the least expected things end up making your look!

And I have a love/hate relationship with mineral makeup. Sometimes I think it looks a bit false, it goes white in flash photography, itches a bit and makes a mess… but it does give long lasting coverage and a natural look. So I pull it out of the train case every so often! 🙂

  3. Allie, looks like you started a trend and I’m “spreading it around”. I saw you wearing a pocket watch as a pendant and started doing the same… Two of my friends went out and bought pocket watches to wear like that… It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode when somebody started eating chocolate bars with knives and forks and it spread and really pissed off Elaine… Ah, memories!

You look great today. I should try me some of that mineral foundation.

  4. I stumbled onto your blog today and it completely lifted my spirits. Having a baby two months back has left me feeling far more “frumpy mommy” than “yummy mummy” and it’s a great inspiration to me to see how you work color and style into your wardrobe. You’re an inspiration, and I know I’ll be back to check this out…when baby sleeps…;)
