Living in the hot and humid DC area, I understand the difficulty of appearing polished and professional when the temperatures rise. Though it’s tempting to throw your hair in a quick ponytail and wear the skimpiest and lightest weight clothing in our closet, it’s important to dress appropriately for the workplace, no matter the weather….

Saturday was the March for our Lives. I would have loved to be there. I am agast at how our government is worried more about money than the lives of its residents and wished to be one of the hundreds of thousands who protested that day. But my daughter had her karate tournament, and her…
OK, anyone out there who is a pear shape, you HAVE to try the Eva Curvy jeans from Express. I’m wearing them in the Short length and the flare style. Sometimes a flare style can make me look wider at the hips than I am because it almost over-emphasizes how narrow everything else is, but this one is PERFECT. I love the rise (they don’t fall down!) and the weight isn’t cheap at all. I bought them today (Mar 21) and all the jeans are buy one, get one half off. No…I don’t work for them…but I am sick of crappy jeans and figure that if you’ve got a heavier lower half like me (and esp a long torso, too), then you’d maybe appreciate a little tip…
