I get many emails asking how I dress on weekends… well this is a sampling of my weekend attire. I often wear a striped tee with a jacket or scarf at the throat (or both) with stretch jeans and booties or taller boots.  I have this same tee shirt with metallic shades but I cut it up (slashed neck, hems chopped off).  I like it (and Keef) so much I got a second one that I won't cut up.

I will have a full review of my newest DUO boots at the beginning of the New Year, but you get a preview in this post. These are the Catalonia boots – I need to take them to the cobbler to have them narrowed on the very top so I don't look like a pirate, but otherwise they are perfection. I wanted some black riding boots I could pair with skirts or throw on with jeans on weekends and these do it, while fitting my wide calves!

I'll be here on and off over the holidays – while I am taking the coming week off work it will be a staycation – time to spend with the family and decompress prior to 2012. I wish all of you a lovely holiday season!

Today is an icky day. Spitting rain, the air feels heavy and dank. No desire to go to work, and wardrobe is terribly stagnant. 1. I usually buy tees a bit tighter than expected and then cut them up – cut out the neck, the hem on the sleeves so it’s a more feminine fit.  This one I just stretched out the neck.  Looks far better with layers than on its own 🙂

  2. I never wear t-shirts because at my age and full breasts I don’t think they are flattering. However, I love the way you’ve paired yours with the jacket and scarf.  Hmm…I might have to give that a try.

  3. The jacket is lovely, but I am afraid the boots are cutting you in half making you look short. The boots look like they are made of cheap leather. Shame…. you usually look great. This is not your best look. I do LOVE your hair.
