Monday I attended the Digital East conference in Tysons Corner, Virginia. A very long but inspiring day learning about digital and social media. Dress code was business/business casual. This could mean anything from power suits to jeans. I don’t currently own a suit and had no desire to wear one – my plan was to…
Well hello there awkward pose! I totally envy those style bloggers who get 50 pictures of themselves on city streets, in golden fields of wheat, even in their living room. Oh to have that time! While this picture was being taken, there were two cats in my court fighting each other, Emerson was in the…
Apple green tissue-weight merino boatneck from J. Crew, ivory wool-blend coin-pocket trousers from Ann Taylor Loft, long pearls from Limited looped around neck, tan leather thong heels from Mossimo, silver cuff. Hair is second day, straightened with a round brush and the dryer. Makeup is L’Oreal True Match foundation in C3, concealer in W4-5, Nars…
Met friend and new mom at mall for lunch and a bit of shopping. She got a new job and we were looking for some separates that would blend into her current wardrobe, but make it more professional and appropriate for her new figure. We were at a major outlet mall, and found some great…
I bought some of the newest Universal Standard linen collection and was pleasantly surprised by this petite-friendly jumpsuit!
This summer, I was watching TikTok and a random video came up. I can’t recall the topic the woman in the video was discussing, but I do remember her fabulous pink Dickies overalls. I went to the comment section and someone else was into the overalls and asked where she got them. She said from…
That dress is beautiful, flattering, and you just glow in it! I love those dramatic colors as well as the dramatic hi-low style.
Thank you!
You look amazing!! This dress is so beautiful…are you going to part with it?!?
I am. It’s utterly gorgeous but I know it’s not one I’d wear so many times I can just justify the cost.
I think what I like most about this dress is that you seem to be really enjoying it! It’s really very cute on you.
Thank you so much!
Such a pretty outfit! I’m wearing my first high/low dress to a wedding in August and a bit nervous that it’s a bit young for 57YO me. But I really like the way it looks on me, which is rare with dresses recently! It is the “Pleione ruffled high/low shift dress” in red saucy, which I got at the anniversary sale. Got it in black, too, and tempted to keep both.
That is a really lovely dress!
I use that disk to keep my bra straps from showing!!! I always have to have my husband put it on for me though…..do you have a way to do it yourself??
XOXO

Good question. I have a hard time with these, too….
Either Karl does it, or I put on my bra backwards, get the straps through the disc, slide it around and shimmy into place. Option 1 is far preferred! 🙂
What a stunning dress! I think the top is very flattering, and I love how you styled it. I’ll say it again — Gwynnnie Bee — come to Canada!
That would be great if they did!
